LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS

You can count on your Chamber to represent your business interests at all levels of government. The Chamber is your constant watchdog on issues affecting the prosperity of your business.

 

During legislation session, the Chamber hosts two Legislative Coffees, open to the public and gives local individuals the chance to network with our legislators directly. After hearing a brief update from each legislator present, the audience has an opportunity to ask questions about hot topic issues, such as health care, education, budget concerns, etc. All state senators and representatives are invited to attend these Legislative Coffees.

 

All Legislative Coffees are held in the Spray-Holt Family Board Room at the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce, 1125 Williams and begin at 10 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and donuts and coffee are provided.

SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE

Chamber staff and members are eager to provide assistance with referrals and information regarding small business concerns such as regulations, finance, marketing, and more.
