OUTLOOK BUSINESS JOURNAL
Our monthly newsletter, called the Outlook Business Journal is open for all members to submit articles, photos, and calendar items to be published and distributed to over 1200 professionals in the Great Bend area. This publication also features affordable color advertising. Submit news items here.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
The Chamber puts out an annual membership directory that serves as a handy, desktop resource for community demographics, contact information for local government, and more. Most importantly, it is a reference tool for looking up other Chamber members. This directory is also available in a searchable, online format here on our website.
FLYER INSERT PROGRAM
This monthly service allows Chamber members to insert a flyer into the Outlook Business Journal mailing. Submit insert to marketing@greatbend.org by the 15th of the month, it will automatically be inserted into the next month's packet (call or email for pricing).
MONTHLY RADIO PROGRAM
On the first Thursday of every month at 11:35 AM, the Chamber hosts a radio program on KVGB 1590 AM called ChamberConnect. During this half-hour program, we highlight different programs, events, and happenings throughout the year. The show is a great way for members to stay tuned in to the Chamber’s initiatives.
WEEKLY EMAIL UPDATES
Similar to the print newsletter, email Updates offer Chamber members a chance to showcase events, news, or promotions between the monthly mailings. If you would like to receive our email Update, contact us to be added to the distribution list. Submit news items here.
RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONIES
The Chamber staff and Ambassadors host ribbon cuttings for grand openings, expansions, or new members at no charge. During the ceremony, a photo will be taken that will then be showcased in the Outlook Business Journal along with an article featuring that businesses’ news and the products/services they have to offer.

The Chamber website allows members to gain visibility and presence online through a dynamic and searchable membership directory that feeds content to Google. A robust community calendar also provides a free platform to promote our members events & promotions.
GIFT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Over 140 members currently participate in our gift certificate program, which encourages more than $140,000 in gift certificate money to stay local each year. As a member, you can enroll in this program at no charge, but there is a 3% fee deducted at the time of redemption to cover the expenses of the program. See participating members.
