Fr. Kerry Ninemire went to St. Francis Seminary High School in Victoria,
KS. He attended St. Mary’s College in Kentucky and Kenrick Seminary
in St. Louis, MO. He was ordained in 1975 in his home parish, St.
Joseph’s in New Almelo, KS. He has served in several parishes in the
diocese, his longest terms being in Manhattan and Salina. He is presently
in his thirteenth year as pastor of St. Mary’s Parish in Salina. He has
served on various public and diocesan boards throughout his ministry and
has taught several courses for the Diocesan Religious Studies Program. He
has also directed retreats for the Dioceses of Grand Island, NE in 1988 and
Jefferson City, MO in 1990. He has given Advent and Lenten Days of
Renewal for the priests of Grand Island, NE and Kansas City, MO several
times in recent years.
